Celebrate Black History Month at the Zoo! Join us for fun craft making, educational activities, and an interactive Black History Live program.
This event is FREE with Zoo admission or membership!
What to expect throughout the Zoo:
- Kids craft station, Exploration Stations, story time and face painting
- Join Grammy-nominated children’s entertainer, author, and educator, Culture Queen, for a fun and interactive Black History Month program (Saturday only)
- Reveal of the second LEGO tier of the Zoo’s 150th Anniversary cake. We’ve teamed up with Charm City LUG to create a “Build Towards 150” cake made entirely out of LEGO. Visit each month to reveal another tier of the cake, culminating with our big birthday bash on April 7, 2026. (Saturday only)
