Join author and historian Lauri Williamson on Black History in Motion, Washington's signature Black history bus tour.
This special departure is perfectly timed for visitors arriving for Congressional Black Caucus Weekend, but everyone is welcome.
This is not a monument checklist. It is a carefully curated journey through the places where freedom was tested, claimed, organized, and redefined.

Lauri Williamson is the author of 111 Places in Black Culture in Washington, DC That You Must Not Miss, a licensed Washington, DC tour guide and cultural historian. Her passion is helping visitors experience Washington through stories that connect people, places, and the American story.
