About this Event

The Black + Gold Artists Exchange brings Black American and Asian American artists together to share stories and explore the connections between our communities through art and collaboration.

The participating artists include: Gina Kim, Kara Mshinda, Anula Shetty, and Marquis Wright-Lee. The project is co-curated by Romana Lee Akiyama and Michelle Myers, and Nina “Lyrispect” Ball serves as co-facilitator.

The exhibitions and programs will take place on November 14 and 15, 2026 at Asian Arts Initiative and Painted Bride Arts Center. RSVP today and stay tuned for program schedules and details for both locations.
