Black Girl Wrap Up 2026: Celebration, Joy, and Legacy
The Black Girl Wrap-Up is a joyful, vibrant celebration of everything we’ve accomplished together and an inspiring leap into what’s next. What began as a heartfelt farewell for our Camp Diva participants has blossomed into a dynamic gathering that now includes all of our summer programs: Girl Ambassador Program, Mission in Bloom, Education Fund Scholarship Awards, Peer Advisors... and more.

Milani Hopkins, GFAC Peer Advisor, will join Charis Jones, owner of Sassy Jones, an award-winning accessory brand deeply rooted in the belief that women should feel undeniably confident in themselves.
Charis will speak about confidence, ownership, vision, and what it truly means to build something from what you have. Our conversation will center around the girls’ commitments this summer, from working summer jobs to help fund their journey to Ghana, to traveling abroad and returning to school with fresh ideas, new memories, and expanded worldviews.
We will explore how these experiences are transferable, how confidence gained through travel, discipline built through work, and exposure to new cultures can shape leadership, entrepreneurship, academic success, and long term growth.
This conversation is about helping our girls understand that what they are building this summer does not end in July. It carries into the school year, into their dreams, and into the women they are becoming.

Donations are welcome to support Girls For A Change’s mission to prepare Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls.
