Black Family Day 2022: Our Ancestors' Wildest Dreams

In celebration of Black Family Day 2022, the Greater Tampa Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., will manifest Our Ancestors' Wildest Dreams.

“We desire to bequeath two things to our children; the first one is roots, the other one is wings.”

Join us to honor those who came before and those yet to come. Special tribute will be shown to Graduating Teens, Tenuring Mothers, Chapter Award Recipients and Grade Groups as we celebrate the heritage, tradition, and beauty of the Black family. GTC members are invited to join in-person. The event will also be LIVE-streamed.

Date: Sunday, May 15, 2022. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with the program set to being promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Location: Hunters Green Country Club,18101 Longwater Run Dr, Tampa, FL 33647 Onsite parking available on the premises at no cost.

Attire for All: Royal Flare - Royal Blue, Black, White, or Gold; Add a coordinating African accessory of your choice if you so desire: no jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops will be permitted.

Seating: A Sign-up Genius will be distributed to registered guests to allow families to choose their seats in advance.

Cost: GTC Moms and Families: No Cost (costs covered by annual dues)

GTC Associates: $35 per person

PLEASE NOTE: A charge (adult $35 each, child $15 each) will apply to any GTC Mom and/or family with a RSVP yes who does not attend.

There are several ticket options so please review carefully. RSVP DEADLINE: Friday, April 29, 2022

COVID protocols will be adhered to. Masks are recommended. If your are not feeling well or experiencing any COVID related symptoms, we ask that you do not attend the event.
