About this Event
Black Ear, White Noise
by Helen T. Mariam
Performance Studio 2, RCSSD
Fri 5th, 3:00pm, 4:00pm & 5:00pm
From proud fascists to liberal apologists, the noise of the imperial core rings loud yet hollow. Still, some ears are pricked by its luring call of power. Others hear the bluster for the nonsense it is. And some are just listening out for any spikes in danger. Black Ear, White Noise is a provocative experimental headphone experience that explores these everyday black aural encounters with the white din.
Created by Helen T. Mariam (Sound Artist, Writer, and Performer)
