The Black Dress Project and Pratt Fashion present the fifth event in an ongoing series entitled, “Black Dress Talks.”
This series highlights the contributions made by Black men and women in fashion through the sharing of stories
that illustrate the creativity, preservation, obstacles, and triumphs they’ve experienced. This conversation will be
moderated by Pratt Fashion Professor Adrienne Jones, founder of Black Dress, and joined by award-winning hair
and beauty experts Karen Dupiche, Alfred Fornay, Ursula Stephen, D'angelo Thompson, and Mamie McDonald
for an in-depth conversation about beauty from the artists and stylists who engage us with everything
from the latest on the runway to the behind the scenes fashion stories.
