Members of the Cal Poly Black Alumni Community are invited to celebrate Black Commencement 2023 on Friday, June 16, from 6-8 p.m. at Cal Poly's Spanos Theater (1 Grand Avenue - Bldg. 44, San Luis Obispo, CA 93407).The ceremony recognizes the culture and accomplishments of the Cal Poly students of the Black and African Diaspora graduating class.
Alumni can join in celebrating this traditional rite of passage, hear from distinguished speakers, enjoy live performances, and share words to encourage and empower graduating students in all of their future endeavors.
Whether you are a Central Coast local or visiting town for the weekend, we hope you'll show up and share the joy of this momentous occasion.
