Black Cat Zine Club

Come join us at our second Black Cat - Bar, Coffee & Bottle Shop for our monthly Zine Club gathering! It's free to attend, but you will need a ticket! The club is 14+ but under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is ticketed because we have a limited area for the workshop/club. If you dont have a ticket (they are free!) it is likely that you will be turned away ?

If you're new to zines, your host, Laura, will guide you through all the basics, as well as introducing different formats that more experienced zinesters may not have tried. We will use collage, stickers, writing (if you want to!) to self-publish our own zines.

Generally, we will be meeting on the last Tuesday of every month at the Black Cat on Smithdown Road, but we are squishing in a student friendly date before you all go back to see your mam! Be prepared for a warm welcome, great staff, delicious coffees, and beers and cocktails for everyone's taste. Low and no alcohol options galore too!

There will be a theme and prompts to get our creativity flowing, but feel free to come armed with your own ideas, old magazines to chop up for collaging and your pencil case!

All materials are provided, but please bring your wallet to buy drinks and snacks at the bar. There are a few steps up to the poster room where the club will be held. Get in touch if you have access requirements.
