Black Business Expo Tallahassee 2026

Many Black businesses failed during the pandemic because Black businesses were unaware of the support system that was available to them. Wall Street Journal states that "40% of Black businesses went under in the first 90 days of the pandemic." In addition, according to Forbes Magazine "only 20% of Black businesses that applied for PPP loans got them." It's time to connect with local government, chambers, and agencies that can help Black businesses generate revenue and sustain jobs. #ThriveIn2025

On behalf of Mega Ace Media and the Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality, we are thrilled to announce that the 2025 Black Business Expo Tallahassee (BBET) will take place on February 22, 2025, at The Moon! Registration is officially open, and we encourage you to secure your spot today!

This year, we’ve worked hard to make BBET more dynamic and impactful than ever before. With exciting new partners and agencies eager to collaborate with your business, we’re creating more opportunities than ever to help you grow. We’ll also have on-site registration with various local entities, ensuring your business is well-positioned to pursue valuable contracts. The theme for 2025 is #ThriveIn25, and we’re expecting our largest and most diverse group of participants to date.

Exciting New Features for 2025:

• Grant Giveaways with a Twist: This year, we’re bringing some fun to the process of distributing grants. Complete your "passport," and we’ll randomly draw names from a lottery-style ping pong ball machine! And the best part? All grants will be awarded on the spot, so you’ll leave the event with your check in hand.
• Construction Industry Focus: For businesses in the construction sector, we’re hosting a Builder’s Roundup on Friday, February 21, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Hotel Indigo. This special event will bring construction industry leaders together, providing a platform to market your products and services, plus guidance on how to expand your business capacity to compete for larger projects. We’ll also connect you with agencies that can help you grow and prepare for future opportunities.
