Martin Traynor is a Toronto and Prince Edward County based guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a rich legacy in the Canadian music scene. Martin’s career is defined by his versatility across Jazz, Pop, Rock and R&B.

After retiring from a distinguished career as a Music educator, Martin has returned his full focus to performance and composition. His work has been featured on Jazz FM and 99.3 County FM and he has performed at legendary venues like Massey Hall, Base 31, The Rex, The El Mocambo and the Toronto Jazz Festival. With four major releases to his credit—including his most recent 2024 solo guitar project—Martin continues to record, teach, and perform both as a solo artist and as a session & freelance player.
