Black Bear Bike Festival 2026!

This year marks the 40th running of the Bear, making this mountain bike race one of the longest consecutively run mountain bike races in the country! In conjunction with the West Virginia Mountain Bike Association (WVMBA) and the City of Charleston, we hope to have a fun, safe and enjoyable event for racers, non-racing bike riders and spectators alike. The social rides leave at 10:00 a.m. and the WVMBA race kicks off at noon. Finish line headquarters will have food trucks, kid's zone, and restroom facilities.
