This December, the Capri Theater will be transformed by Black “Co-MingL” Nativity, a vibrant and modern reimagining of the traditional nativity story. Blending live music, theatre, dance, and the powerful message of love and unity, this one-of-a-kind production is set to become a new holiday tradition in the Twin Cities.
Now in its 2nd year, this powerful production unites the hottest band in the Twin Cities and Los Angeles native & celebrated actress Nubia Monks for a fresh, soulful reimagining of the nativity story.
The show features the explosive energy of Co-MingL, the Twin Cities’ hottest band, alongside the magnetic presence of acclaimed actor and playwright Nubia Monks (The Color Purple, Guthrie, Penumbra). Together, they deliver an unforgettable celebration of culture, faith, and community.
