This month fusion is feeling fancy with our second annual Black & White Monochrome Ball! Come dressed to impress and we will dance the night away like the silent movie stars of bygone eras š¤š¬š©š¤µš»āāļø Late nights are always potlucks, feel free to bring a dish or NA beverage to share. What to expect:
Fusion dancing allows you to blend different dance styles together to create a unique experience with each partner. The lesson covers core principles of partner dance such as frame, connection and musicality, and how to use them to dance with partners of all different backgrounds. Our teachers come from a wide range of dances and bring their own flavor and skill set to each lesson for new content every class. No partner or prior dance experience is required.
6:50PM to 7:00PM - Check-in and begin warm-up
7:00PM to 8:00PM - All-levels fusion Lesson taught by Brent Bianchini
8:00PM to 12:30AM - Social dance with THREE DJās Savannah Morse, Amanda Oyao & Sammie Anne McKibben
Lesson topic: Style hopping - this lesson focuses on transitioning between dance styles using contrasting movement qualities and clear lead/follow/switch dynamics. You'll develop mental frameworks to better translate musical elements while maintaining strong partner connection. We will emphasize practical techniques to balance personal expression in partnership roles.
Cost:
$10 for the lesson
$15-20 sliding scale for the social dance
$20-25 sliding scale for the lesson + social dance
Please bring:
- Your photo ID

-A water bottle, we have a refill station, letās be sustainable!
- Comfortable clothing and shoes you can move in easily. Comfort is key!
