Your donations of love & care will benefit teens and young adults that are affected by sex trafficking. The teens and young adults are between the ages of 12 -21 years old and residing throughout the five boroughs of New York City. All donations and money raised at the Black & Gold Gala Fundraiser will directly impact the lives of sex trafficking survivors that seek services and/or participating in Freedom Youth Family Justice Center Programs such as the Young Adult Discovery program & Vulnerable people project. Every year Our young girls and boys are forced, frauded, and or coerced into the world of Sex trafficking right here in New York City and across the world.
Sex trafficking survivors endure so much trauma when they are in captivity and often when they return home or to their communities, they struggle with trust issues and so much more. Since 2019 Freedom Youth Family Justice Center has stepped up to assist survivors in the process of reimagining their lives and a big part of reimagining their life, they must first take care of their immediate need such as getting a health and wellness checkup, making sure they have a safe place to rest, and/or making sure that the survivor’s family feels safe in the neighborhood where the young survivor was recruited from. Freedom Youth Family Justice Center offers unique & holistic family centered services to the survivors and their family members. We believe in establishing a trusting relationship first and seek to empower strengthen and stabilize survivors of sex trafficking by providing holistic and comprehensive supportive services for survivors between the ages of 12-21 years old living and residing within the five boroughs of New York City and their immediate family members.
Your contributions of $25 dollars can help a missing and exploited teen or young adult get back home safely or transported to a safe home.
Your donations of $15 dollars can provide undergarment and or clothing for survivor that needs undergarments.
Your donation of $50.00 can provide burner phones for young adults that is seeking service and do not have a way to connect with love ones or much needed service providers.
Your donation of $200.00 can benefit a survivor and their immediate family members by providing emergency food assistance.
Your donations of $500.00 to $1000 can assist a survivors of survival sex with temporary living arrangements.
As a survivor of Sex Trafficking, I know how important it is to feel supported and whole and so much of what we are doing for the survivors are related to healing and helping the survivor regain their life by providing the survivors with tools to help them heal, rebuild, and sustain.
