"I’d like all of my book events including this one to be mask required, rather than just encouraged, to reduce spread of COVID and be more accessible to all readers. I know the bookstore is a public space and may have other people browsing and shopping who aren’t masked, but I would like the audience for the talk to be masked for my own safety as well as that of audience members."
