Welcome to Bite The Bullet Comedy Club in Drumcondra!
Come join us at the Cat and Cage Pub for a evening of side-splitting laughter. A night filled with jokes, stories, and good vibes.
On 5 December we are delighted to be joined by one of Ireland's favourite comedians, the renowned John Colleary (RTE, Paddy Power Comedy Festival, Electric Picnic).

John Colleary

Apart from being one of the most in-demand comics in the land, John Colleary has also co-written and starred in IFTA nominated shows, The Savage Eye (RTÉ2) and Irish Pictorial Weekly (RTÉ One). Other TV credits include appearances on Stand & Deliver (Live from Róisín Dubh) and The Panel (RTÉ2). A talented actor and mimic, John featured as one third of The Gusset Brothers on The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One).
He has also scooped an IMRO Award for his topical sketch writing and performance on Today FM’s drivetime flagship, The Last Word; and is a favourite at Ireland’s top comedy clubs and festivals.
Damo Clark
Aussie lad Damo Clark kicked off his comedy career by winning the Comedy Award at the Perth Fringe in 2000, and hasn’t stopped since!

Continuing his success Damo has had a sellout run at the Glasgow Comedy Festival from 2013-2017 as well as at the Edinburgh Fringe from 2011-2018 - Where he picked up the coveted Amused Moose Peoples Champion Award!
Darren Gaffney
Darren is a comedian hailing from County Cavan - unlike most Cavan men he can attest he no longer has his Communion money. Darren is making his way up through the Irish comedy scene having performed at most of the top clubs in the country. He has also performed in cities acoss the UK. You can find him gigging around the clubs in Dublin on a weekly basis, or in clubs all around the country. He attended Edinburgh Fringe 2024 where he headlined gigs for the first time.
He started his own comedy club 'Bite The Bullet Comedy' in 2024, which has gone from strength to strength since the first show in back in May '24. Darren MC's the show and plans to continue to grow and develop the club.
He is also the man behind the successful ‘The Gaff Cast’ podcast in which he discusses the issues of the day in a humorous and lighthearted tone.
