Bite Me! Cat Alley Street, July 10, 2026

Somewhere between dusk and whatever comes after good judgment, Bite Me takes shape upstairs above the Catalyst Club on Cat Alley Street in downtown Santa Cruz.
Bite Me returns on the Second Friday of every month. Our next gathering takes place Friday, July 10th, 2026.
In the shadow of Independence Day, we offer a different interpretation of the word. Not flags or declarations, but something quieter and more personal. A night for self-determination in its most honest form: the freedom to be strange, sincere, romantic, unconventional, nocturnal, artistic, dramatic, or entirely yourself without negotiation. Come dressed as the weirdo that you are; there will be door prizes for best dressed.
This evening is for outsiders, romantics, night creatures, artists, dancers, and the sort of people who always seem to know where the interesting party is happening.
Music for the evening will be provided by Dead Reverend (Live), Adrienne Scissorhands, Echoic, SamSonic, and Stu.
Come early! Our Live Act Starts at 8 p.m. sharp
6:00 PM — Doors
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM — The Bite Me Salon, featuring goth makeovers, local artists, peculiar creations, lounge music, and open decks for whoever arrives early enough to claim them.
7:00 PM — Complimentary pizza for guests
8:00 PM to 9:00 PM — Dead Reverend (live)
9:00 PM to 10:00 PM — Adrienne Scissorhands (Post-Mortem)
10:00 PM to 11:00 PM — Echoic
11:00 PM to 12:00 AM — SamSonic (Beat Alchemists, Snarklefarkers, Decadent Oasis, MPYRE)
12:00 AM to 1:30 AM — Stu (aka Stuart Hill Robinson of Club Snarklefarkers)
About our headliner:
Stu is a veteran DJ with experience across events of every size and shape. While versatile in genre, his foundation is in dark music and industrial, where his work has long been rooted. He remains a respected and enduring legend in the Cat Alley Street community.
Among his many affiliations, the most notable and the one he is most proud of is Club Snarklefarkers, known for its rare four-day appearance at Unscruz before vanishing again without notice. It has become quietly synonymous with excellence and mystery. It is beautiful, precise, and difficult to describe without sounding like exaggeration. It is made of hard work and it's rooted in the best principles, which may explain why it's a huge deal to have him with us!
