The latest pre-release for the Magic the Gathering TCG, The Hobbit!
Each registration gets you a Pre Release kit, which contains 6 play boosters packs from The Hobbit, and 1 Random rare of mythic Foil from the set! To build a 40 card sealed deck (lands will be available for free to help build your mana base).
We'll be playing a 4 round, 50 minutes best of 3 tournament with the decks you construct!
Prizing will be pack per win and a further prize pool fort the top 6 players! Each entry will add 3 packs to the prize pool minimum!
1st place will receive an EXTRA 0.5 packs per player (max 12/ min 6) , 2nd will receive an extra 0.333 packs per player (max 8/ min 4), 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th will receive an extra 0.125 packs per player (max 3/ min 1).
That's a whooping prize pool of over 80* play boosters. (*Dependant on number of participants, Minimum 3 packs per player into the prize pool)!
Joining our pre-release allows you to get your hands on these cards a week before release!
To book the pre-release, please use the BitC website and fill in the booking form - https://www.boardinthecity.co.uk/bookings/ telling us how many people want to attend, and put “MTG The Hobbit pre-release #3” in the additional information and make sure you select the correct date.
Entry is £35 per person, payable on the day. This event is capped to 24 people. The café opens 12pm, pack opening to start at 12:30pm.
