Early Fall is one of the best times to see the prairie! Bison and their calves are active and exploring their surroundings. We will start our day visiting the Nature Center at Prairie State Park, where we will learn about these magical animals, before we go out to explore. We will then get on the trail and hike for 2.6 miles of easy but rocky terrain. We will be surrounded by beautiful prairies, wildflowers, and birds. Don’t forget your camera and your binoculars (if you have them) to be able to spot bison roaming the prairies with their herd. After the hike, we will stop at a Kansas local brewery for some craft beer tasting and social time. Relax while you talk about the unique day you just had before heading back home refreshed and ready for the week ahead!
