Glasgow-born author David Giffen revisits his 2020 memoir, ‘Redemptive Trauma: Confession of a Defrocked Priest’, and asks what happens when life continues beyond the final page.

Through short readings and candid reflection, he explores trauma, faith, family, personal responsibility, and recovery—and what belonging and home mean after more than forty years in Canada. The talk will include audience questions and the opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed by the author.
