Birth Planning & Comfort Measures Class | Washington, DC
About this Event
Prepare for birth with knowledge, practical skills, and confidence.
This 6-hour childbirth preparation workshop combines evidence-based education, guided discussion, and hands-on practice to help expecting parents and their support partners feel informed and prepared for labor and birth.
Together, we'll explore birth planning, what to expect during labor and birth, your options and choices, comfort techniques, movement and positioning, and practical ways your partner or support person can support you throughout labor.
You'll also have opportunities to put what you're learning into practice using birth balls, labor positions, counterpressure, movement, and other comfort measures—so you leave with tools you've actually tried, not just information to remember.
Your registration includes one expecting parent + one support person.
This workshop is part of M.A.M.A.'s Parent Prep Series. Attend this workshop individually for $250, or choose the Complete Parent Prep Pass for $425 to attend both Parent Prep workshops and save $75.
