This year will be the second running of the learning disability and autism conference hosted by B'ham Women's and Children's Hospital Trust.
About this Event

"Do you see me?" is the theme of this years event, taken from Mencap's learning disability awareness week which is happening the week before. The conference also incorporates autism and brings people together from a variety of backgrounds and specialisms to challenge the barriers autistic people and people with learning disabilities face on a daily basis.

The conference is all about celebrating the things that autistic people and people with learning disabilities do and bring to any situation. Hosted by the Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, you will hear stories from patients, carers and staff who are involved with the services the trust offer across Birmingham and beyond.

Attendess will hear from speakers who bring an array of thought-provoking and contemporary topics to analyse a way forward. There will be question and answer sessions to enhance learning as well interactive workshops to improve lives and tackle health inequality. Lunch is provided and there will be ample opportunities to network.

The agenda for the event is subject to change.
