Bednall - The Dear Bargain

This summer programme features four very different works.
Elgar’s fabulous dramatic work 'Give unto the Lord’ and Leonard Bernstein’s ever popular, hopeful and life-affirming 'Chichester Psalms’, sung in Hebrew text, will be performed alongside two second performances of works commissioned by the choir: David Bednall’s beautiful 'The Dear Bargain’ and the radiant 'Sound the Invisible Trumps’ composed by the choir’s Music Director Paul Spicer and dedicated to Pauline Round who was a much-loved choir President.
Birmingham Bach Choir is a renowned large chamber choir. Recent reviews of performances include:
