You're most welcome to join our Birdwatching Walk commencing at 7.30am on Saturday 27 July from the Bird Viewing Platform at the entrance to Troy Park (opp 194 Burke Drive, Attadale).
The Walk will be guided by Margaret Matassa, Chair of SERAG. Please be at the viewing platform by 7.15am to complete registration details.
Our Osprey couple have been renovating and updating their nest atop a nesting pole. Musk ducks are busy with their courtships and Great Crested Grebes in amongst them too. Pied Stilts, Great Egrets and White-faced Herons are on full view as well as a number of other shore and land birds.
Take in lovely views across the mudflats to Perth City, relax and enjoy the birdlife as well as the company of fellow birdwatchers.
The walk will conclude around 9.15 am but you are free to leave earlier if you need to.
Please wear warm clothes, walking shoes and bring a pair of birdwatching binoculars, sunscreen/raincoat and a bottle of water. We’ll have a few spare pairs of binoculars for those who might need them.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
