Join us for a live performance celebrating the release of Birdsongs, Vol 3 - Sounds Of The Great Salt Lake, the third album in this collaborative series from Micky Torpedo, Jennifer Kuroda and Sinnissippi Audubon. This album highlights bird species threatened by the quickly disappearing Great Salt Lake in Utah. Of which, scientists predict will be completely gone by 2028, directly impacting the approximately 10 million migratory birds who seek refuge in the wetlands, along with with all the other species and human inhabitants that rely on this ecosystem.
Micky and the band will perform the Vol 3 album and select tracks from the first two albums. You can stream the new album now wherever you listen to music, but Birdsongs CDs and merchandise will be available for purchase and all Vol 3 sales will benefit the Great Salt Lake Audubon and Sinnissippi Audubon.
This event is free, family friendly and open to the public. Pig Minds Brewing Co will be on site serving adult and kiddo beverages.
Come enjoy a beautiful, late Spring day in nature with great music, great beer, and rub elbows with local Audubon members and conservationists to learn more about their mission and find out how you can get involved!
