Join us this Sunday, September 14th for a field trip to see the Birds in Art 50th Annual exhibition!Featuring hundreds of works from world class artists, this is an internationally renowned exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin.
From the museum's website: "Birds, in all their majesty and fragility, connect us with the natural world. All-new work by some of the world’s most talented artists serves as a fitting tribute to this year’s milestone 50th annual exhibition. Discover how artists’ interpretations of birds inspire you and why, throughout five decades, Birds in Art has garnered international acclaim."
We will be meeting at 12 p.m. in parking lot #4 on Crosby Avenue across from the Chase Bank in Stevens Point to carpool and ride up together, or if you prefer, you can join us at the museum at 1 p.m. at 700 N 12th Street Wausau, WI 54403.
