Denne aften vil man kunne opleve den lystige samtale mellem de to fugle som har fundet vej indenfor til Vor Frelsers Kirkes smukke klang, for der at synge fornøjede og nyde hinandens selskab. Blokfløjtenisterne Michala Petri og Bolette Roed spillede allerede for nogle år siden duet på festivalen, og det afstedkom mange ønsker til en gentagelse, som denne aften er en realitet. På programmet er blandt andet mange af Telemanns fantasifulde og legesyge duetter, og tonerne som vil danse ud fra blokfløjterne og hænderne på de to vil blande sig med fuglenes flugt på himlen.
”Birds delight” er en koncert med den skønne blanding af leg og alvor som opstår mellem to åndsfæller, hvor samtalen hele tiden inspirerer til nye ideer og sætningerne blander sig let og elegant mellem hinanden.

This evening, audiences can experience the lively conversation between two birds that have found their way into the beautiful acoustics of the Church of Our Saviour, where they sing joyfully and delight in each other’s company.
Recorder players Michala Petri and Bolette Roed previously performed a duo concert at the festival some years ago, which led to many requests for a repeat performance — and this evening that wish becomes a reality. The programme includes several of Telemann’s imaginative and playful duets, where the tones dancing from the recorders and the hands of the two musicians will intertwine with the flight of birds in the sky.
“Birds Delight” is a concert that captures the beautiful balance between playfulness and seriousness that emerges between two kindred spirits, where the musical conversation continuously inspires new ideas, and phrases effortlessly and elegantly weave into one another.
