Birding at Leach Botanical Garden

Leach Botanical Garden is16 acres of cultivated and natural gardens in outer Southeast Portland. Explore this hidden gem and get a tour of the Back 5 natural area as well. Our meeting location will be at the main entrance.

Parking is free, and the lot does fill up, so we suggest carpooling. We typically don't charge for the event, however there is a $8 admission fee. Leach has had some financial hardship and we ask that if you can pay this, please do. Otherwise, you can get in for free with a cultural pass through Clackamas and/or Multnomah County Library. If you're planning to take public transportation, line 10, 73, & 86 drop off on SE 122nd & Foster.

After the walk, we are planning to have lunch in the garden so bring something to snack on while you socialize.
