Normally this event is on the 2nd Saturday of the month, but The Christmas Bird Count is on the 2nd Saturday. So, please join Jean Ferguson at Foster Park this Saturday.
(NOTE: Because of conflicts, this walk will be held on the first Saturday in the months of December, 2024, and February & March, 2025) The park is located at Trail Lake Dr. in south Fort Worth. This is Ft. Worth Audubon’s longest running monthly field trip! This is a great field trip for both beginning and experienced bird watchers as this linear trail attracts many migrants thanks to a small stream and wooded canopy. Easy walking on paved trails. The walk usually lasts 1 to 2 hours.
Start Time for June through September is 7:30 AM.
Start time for October through May is 8:30 AM.
Dress for the current weather conditions, and bring water and snacks if wanted.
