Join Golden Eagle Audubon as we explore the birds of Foote Park.
About this Event

Please register to attend this trip. Make sure you complete all fields and receive a confirmation email.

Join Golden Eagle Audubon for some birding around Foote Park. We will undertake a moderate hike down the Black Cliffs Trail. We will travel between 1-2 miles on rocky uneven trails.

We will see what birds are around the area this time of year. Birds we may likely see include swallows, Lazuli Buntings, wrens, and more.

Please note: hazards may include: narrow trails, ticks, rocky trails and rattle snakes.

Binoculars are available to borrow if needed.

This event is suitable for all levels of birders.

Participants must be 16 years old or older and parent or guardian must sign the waiver for participants under 18 years old.

Time: 8 - 10 am

Lower parking lot at Foote Park. (FYI limited cell service)

Restroom Availability: Public restrooms are available.

What to bring: Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable closed-toed walking shoes. Bring water. No dogs please.
