Join other nature enthusiasts in an easygoing walk of our Yellow Trail to observe the various birds that call this preserve home.If you don't have a pair of binoculars, we can lend you a pair.
The group meets at the Canoe Launch Road Pavilion at 8am.
Bring water, sun protection, comfortable close-toed shoes, and bug spray. Restrooms are available via a composting toilet, but take note that no running water is available.
The activity is free with your park entrance fee. Park admission is $3 for a vehicle (up to 8 people). Bicyclists and pedestrians are $2/person. Park entrance fees are to be paid via the yellow honor box when you come in through the main gate. Exact change is needed OR you can purchase a day pass online with credit card: https://www.floridastateparks.org/learn/park-admission-online-payment
Please write the confirmation number on the blue envelope before dropping it into the yellow box and hang the blue hanger in your windshield. If you have an annual pass, please write your pass number on the blue envelope and drop it in the box. This way Tallahassee can see how many visitors utilize our park.
