Bird Watching, a Jazz Trio consisting of Sean Lebita, piano; Jonah Bennett, bass; and Erik Skoog, drummer, with special guest Bob Fuson, saxophone, will perform a fundraiser for the Lincoln Music Teachers Association Music Outreach Program at 3PM, Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Unitarian Church, 6300 A Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Suggested donation donation is $10 or more. Students 16 and under are free. A reception will follow the performance.
The award-winning Lincoln Music Teachers Association - Music Outreach Program (LMTA-MOP) provides low-cost music lessons, instruments, printed music, tickets to music events, and community performance opportunities for children who could not otherwise afford them. Using private donations, grants, fundraising activities, and modest fees paid by the student families, the MOP pays its teachers and provides free instruments with upkeep along with other operating costs.
