We will embark on a short hike to a secluded spot that is ideal for observing birds and leisurely journaling. Bring your family and friends to connect with the community in this relaxing outdoor setting.
This event is free to attend, and parking at East Sentinel is also free. The park Naturalist will provide nature journals for you to take home, and binoculars will be available for use during the event.
Below is a list of recommended items and personal safety equipment to bring for the event:
- drawing/ painting supplies
- foldable lawn chair
- closed-toe shoes
- bug spray
Weather permitting. Predictions show a cool, overcast morning, perfect for bird watching!
