Bird in Hand presents Jason and Emily: "The Hero with a Thousand Faces"

Bird in Hand welcomes you back to our seasonal concert series! Winter of 2026 is filled with storytelling through music. From ballads and ancient heros to seafaring songs and unrequited love, there is a bit of everything. Folk music with influences from around the world to our own backyard will invite you inside to cozy up with a tasty winter latte or cocktail. This concert series is free, and donations to directly support the artists are welcome.

Jason and Emily are a folk singer-songwriter duo weaving together piano, guitar, and heartfelt harmonies to create a musical storytelling immersion that feels like medicine for the soul. With roots in Joseph's Campbell's idea of the hero's journey, they take listeners through a true story from their own life that traverses through all the stages Campbell details of loss, healing, and ultimately, victory. Jason and Emily's live show reflects this shared human experience, and invites audiences to courageously become bold heroes of our own life's adventure.
