Bird Group Excursion to Geelong Botanic Gardens and Eastern Park

We will take a walk in the Geelong Botanic Gardens and then head out into the park to the Grey-headed Flying-fox colony.
Eastern Park, including the Geelong Botanic Gardens, has been Craig Morley’s local patch for more than 45 years. The eBird hotspot for Eastern Park lists 185 bird species
What to wear/bring: Comfortable walking shoes, warm waterproof clothes, hat, binoculars, water, morning tea and if you want to stay on bring lunch and a folding chair.
Visitors are welcome, just be at the front gate by 8:45 for a 9:00am start
