Join our Bird Dog First Aid Clinic!
When you're miles from the truck with a dog that's cut, overheated, or injured, the first few minutes matter. Knowing what to do before you reach a veterinarian can make all the difference.
Whether you hunt Gambel's quail in the Arizona desert, spend your winter in the sky islands of southern Arizona, or plan to chase prairie birds on a western road trip, every bird dog owner should know how to respond when an injury happens. This 90-minute seminar is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to care for your dog in the field until veterinary care is available.
A few years ago, the Epagneul Bretons of the Southwest club hosted a bird dog first aid clinic that quickly became one of our most popular educational events. We are excited to bring it back this summer in partnership with Covey Kits.
Field Ready ticket holders will receive a Covey Kits canine first aid kit (retail value $99) and access to the Covey Kits app with first aid guides, tutorials, and instructional videos.
Companion tickets are available to attend the clinic but do not receive a first aid kit.
What You'll Learn
The seminar is designed to help you confidently assess and manage common field injuries including cuts, puncture wounds, eye injuries, heat related emergencies, and more. Through live instruction and hands on demonstrations, you'll learn how to properly use the Covey Kits first aid kit and gain practical skills you can take into the field this season.
Join us on Saturday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. for a Bird Dog First Aid Clinic in North Phoenix. The exact location is still being finalized and will be announced soon.
