Birchcraft dates back to the Stone Age. On this one day workshop, you'll learn all about the magnificent Birch. You'll tap the tree for sap, to make your own syrup. You'll learn how to peel birch bark, using it to make a container. And you'll find out how to make birch-bark tar, which can be used as a substitute for glue. As with all our workshops, you'll get to take home what you make.You'll arrive on site by 10am, and be directed to our workshop. From there, one of our experienced trainers will lead you through the workshop. All wood and tools are provided. The day finishes by 4pm. Please bring your food for the day; you are welcome to cook over the campfire. We provide tea and coffee throughout the day.
