Biotech Buddies is a casual gathering for C-leaders & BD of Biotech, BioPharma, Medtech, Digital Health, Investors, Consultants & Services
About this Event

Biotech Buddies is a casual gathering for C-Level Executives, Business Development and R&D of Biotech and BioPharma Organisations, Digital Health, Medtech, Diagnostic companies, Investors, Consultants and Life Science Service Companies. Started by a group of executives from London who met and socialised at international life science innovation partnering conferences, and yearned to have high-quality regular social networking events in the UK.

With only a £35 entry fee this is a cost-effective way to forge new relationships with the high-quality audiences we attract. We are at the fabulous Oxford Retreat Private Function Room which is just 2-3 minutes walk from Oxford Train Station.

This Biotech Buddies follows an Creative Disruption Forum we are hosting from 10 am at the Arc Oxford on Garsington Road, Oxford which focuses on Dealmaking and Investment Strategies.

We often have a splattering of rock-star CEOs from some of Europe's most successful biotechs and health innovation companies attending #biotechbuddies. This is mixed with a friendly bunch of business development and research executives from some of the world's leading pharma, consultancy firms, service companies and business media. We have a good number of expert industry consultants who have a number of fingers in a number of pies and are a great resource for our life sciences innovation community.

We have a no-hard-sell policy at the event, instead, we meet up to get to know each other, swap ideas and make feel welcome fellow colleagues. The idea is to help you build long-term business relationships that we hope in time will help you bear fruit, and become energised with business ideas.

We encourage the "UpComing Millennial Stars" to join us, to help them network with the very amiable "Ole Guard."

This evening is kindly co-sponsored by Aixial Group:

Operating across the UK, Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, we support studies from First-in-Human (FIH) through late-phase and Real-World Evidence (RWE) programs. Our flexible, sponsor-centric approach ensures tailored solutions for every trial and patient population.

In oncology, we've delivered 300+ studies across 37+ tumour types since 1999, including rare and orphan cancers. Our expert teams execute complex designs—adaptive, basket, and umbrella trials—with proven success, leveraging a global network of 7,000+ sites and enrolling over 70,000 patients.

With more than a decade of radiopharmaceutical experience, we manage Phase I–III trials, including FIH studies, across monotherapy and combination regimens. We navigate global regulatory pathways (CTA, IND, MAA) and collaborate closely with nuclear medicine centres to ensure efficient, high-quality execution.

In rare diseases, we’ve conducted 220+ studies in 90 indications, across both adult and paediatric populations. Our patient-focused model emphasizes digital engagement, advocacy partnerships, and real-time data to overcome recruitment barriers and drive decisions.
