Meet at KSC and vanpool to the Snoqualmie area to tour biosolids forestry application sites and view the poo-flinger!About this Event
Logistics:
- Vanpool only; no personal cars permitted on the forestry/logging roads
- Must leave by 8:00 am; aim to be at KSC by 7:45 - the van won't leave the woods without you but it will leave you at KSC/Seattle.
- You are also welcome to meet us at the upper parking lot at Snoqualmie Falls by 8:45 am; you should still get a 'ticket' here because if you don't, there won't be room for you in the vanpool
What to Bring?
- A sack lunch; foraging is your other meal option and most vegetation will be covered in biosolids.
- Water! Liquids will not be providing (unless it's raining).
- Appropriate clothing - dress for the weather; think Seattle grunge band - flannel and layers are popular here for a good reason.
- PPE - a reflective vest and hiking boots or other sturdy, closed toed shoes you won't mind covering in biosolids.
