We’re celebrating two incredible Ph.D. researchers, Stephanie Rood and Stephanie Tuft, for their groundbreaking work in science and innovation!🧫 Stephanie Rood is exploring how cold atmospheric-pressure plasma can safely eliminate harmful microbes like E. coli and Salmonella from crop seeds—reducing pathogens by up to 99.9% without affecting seed growth. Her research offers a cleaner, more sustainable way to protect crops and improve food safety.
🦴 Stephanie Tuft is studying how different processing methods affect bone graft scaffolds used in surgery. Her findings show that material structure and composition can significantly influence cell growth and bone regeneration, leading to better outcomes in regenerative medicine.
Join us in #BMOL as we highlight these incredible students and their talks!
