Spend a day with pioneering ecologically focused, bio artist and Hereford College of Arts graduate Sophie L. Ferrier, learning how to make biomaterials from everyday waste. Explore and analyse through a material theory lens examples of processing natural materials in the museum collection, then experiment with creating three different bio-based materials. If you have ever been curious about biomaterials, these three beginner-friendly recipes will support your journey into the realm of crafting with alternative materials.
