BioFrontiers Presents: Stephanie Bryant
About this Event
BioFrontiers faculty member Stephanie Bryant talks about "Engineering a Cure for Osteoarthritis". She will discuss her team's Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) funded NITRO project, which is developing injectable therapies to eradicate osteoarthritis, a debilitating disease that affects 32 million Americans. Through a lot of hard work, many hours, and a stellar team, they have demonstrated that they can reverse osteoarthritis and regrow cartilage in the lab. They are now moving towards FDA-required studies to prove their therapies are safe prior to moving into first-in-human clinical trails.
