You are warmly invited to experience this Biodanza taster event which is designed to help you:-
- boost your energy, happiness and reduce stress in a fun and relaxing way
- give you more focus in looking after your needs and wellbeing
- make new positive connections with others.
No previous experience is necessary and full guidance will be provided. Come along and join this Biodanza session being facilitated by Julianne Fraser. Julianne is a rising star from the Rhode Island Biodanza School in the USA and, fortunately for us, she is sharing her talents with the UK!
Julianne brings her own inimitable blend of joyous vitality and an infectious delight for living. Julianne completed her training last year under Caroline Churba, a senior instructor in the international Biodanza organisation. Julianne is offering this class as part of an appraisal process before fully stepping into the world as the gifted and fully qualified Biodanza teacher she is clearly destined to become.
Biodanza means the ‘Dance of Life’ and, as the title implies, helps us to learn to dance with life and also rediscover the joy of living. In Biodanza, we rediscover our capacity to move and enjoy it as well as to be more positively connected with ourselves, others and nature. Biodanza provides a wonderful tool for personal development using music, movement and connection to help us deepen our connections to ourselves and others.
This event is open to men and women of any age and fitness level and can be carried out in a way that suits each individual. In Biodanza, movements are completed alone, or in pairs or in groups depending on the particular exercise. The class starts with vital and playful dances/exercises to boost our energy and happiness levels and then moves towards a series of simple fluidity and relaxation exercises to help us wind down and become more relaxed.
It is easy, fun, and will leave you feeling happy, energised and relaxed. The cost of the session is £5 which is payable at the door. The cost also includes a cuppa and cake afterwards!
