A BioBlitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible with the goal being to get an overall count of the plants, animals, and other organisms that live in a place. This is an opportunity for all members of the community to learn from and collect data with environmental professionals and community partners as we survey pollinators, plants, dragonflies, birds and more. Participants will get to choose 4 survey stations to visit throughout the event, and we will be switching stations every hour.
All ages and backgrounds are welcome and no prior experience is necessary. Volunteers are not required to stay for the entire event, although they are encouraged to! Light lunch and water will be provided.
