𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝟰𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲
Join us for a family-friendly BioBlitz at Fanshawe Conservation Area where we will work together to identify and document as many species as possible!
No prior experience is required for this event. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist, or you’re brand new to identifying living organisms, we hope you’ll join us for a morning of exploration and learning!
You will learn how to identify species using the iNaturalist and Seek apps, as well as field guides that UTRCA outdoor educators will have on hand. If you are interested in using the iNaturalist and Seek apps, we encourage you to download them ahead of time.
𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦:
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Capacity of 40 people. First come, first served. You may want to arrive early to claim your spot.
This is a free event, but the regular gate fee will apply when entering the park.
Events run rain or shine.
𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥:
If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather (e.g., thunderstorm, extreme wind), we will post about the cancellation on the Fanshawe Conservation Area Facebook and Instagram pages.
