About this Event

Join BioBee USA for the Florida Applied IPM & Biocontrol Symposium, an educational event designed for growers, IPM professionals, scouts, researchers, and other horticultural industry professionals interested in advancing biological control.

This half day symposium will focus on the practical implementation of biological control within ornamental production systems. Attendees will explore science based approaches to managing key foliar pests, including mites, aphids, thrips, and whiteflies, while learning how beneficial organisms can be incorporated into effective Integrated Pest Management programs.

The program will feature internationally recognized biological control expert Dr. Shimon Steinberg, along with Dr. Steven Arthurs and Anesia Jackson, M.S., bringing together scientific expertise and practical industry experience.

Attendees will have opportunities to:

  • Explore biological control strategies for major ornamental pests
  • Learn practical approaches to selecting, releasing, and monitoring beneficial organisms
  • View select BioBee biological control agents
  • Discuss real world IPM challenges with technical experts and fellow growers
  • Test their knowledge during an interactive IPM Challenge
