Bill Knight & The Old Dogs band is a renowned 3-piece band, based in the Deep South in Cape Town.
Comprising: Bill Knight (Guitars & Vocals), Derek Craig (Drums) and Jeremy Stephenson (Bass Guitar), they have sold out café Roux on the three previous occasions they’ve played here
Each of them is a massively experienced having played in numerous Bands throughout the Cape Peninsula and Melbourne.
They have each performed with one another over the years, but joined as a single unit for the first time in 2018.
All their Songs are written by Bill Knight, in his characteristic “Kaapse Mengsel/SkollieRock” Style. A Mixed Bag of Influences: Folk, Rock, Blues, Mbaquanga, Maskandi, Reggae, Kaaps, Tamatie, ...., and a Good Helping of Attitude.
True to form they may well be joined by some special surprise guest artists on the night, as is their custom.
