Join us at the Aeronaut Brewery in Somerville on THURSDAY 5/7 at 7:30pm for an evening of FREE music with Bill Jones Trio!Bill Jones, a native of Marion, Massachusetts, is a tenor and soprano saxophonist that been a regular on the jazz scene since he moved to Boston in 1999 to study at the New England Conservatory. He is inspired by such greats as Joe Henderson, John Coltrane, Hank Mobley, Wayne Shorter, and Charlie Parker, as well as modern masters like Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Joe Lovano, Joshua Redman, and Mark Turner. Bill regularly plays at venues in and around Boston, such as Wally’s, The Beehive, Monkfish, and Lilypad. He enjoys playing classic and modern jazz standards and his original compositions. He has performed with many revered jazz musicians, such as Bob Gullotti, Leo Genovese, Herb Pomeroy, Jeff Galindo, Tim Ray, Greg Hopkins, and John Lockwood.
