Jazz Vespers Concerts resume in the historic sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church of SLO on Sunday February 16 at 4 pm with a return visit by the Grammy award winning pianist Bill Cunliffe in an afternoon of solo piano artistry. Mr. Cunliffe has played with Frank Sinatra, Freddie Hubbard, Benny Golson and James Moody among many others as well as winning the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition. He is an acclaimed arranger and educator and is currently a “distinguished faculty member” at Cal State Fullerton. Expect a variety of “love” tunes in this Valentine’s weekend event.
